I don't anticipate having much difficulty in either Art or Speech class, but it's going to be rough staying focused in Econ and Algebra. Neither one is really a subject that I should have any difficulty in, but I just know they will both have a lot of homework and probably bore me half to death.
Nautilus is going to be a breeze, and at this point I really don't need that class for anything specific other than it's a great way to work out without having to pay for a gym membership. For the first time since boot camp, I'm really starting to develop some serious muscle tone back in my legs and stomach area. I want to further define the muscle ridge runs down my chest and stomach area, maybe even start to define my upper and lower abs and see the beginnings of a 4 or 6 pack again; like from before my leg got all torn up and made it impossible for me to run or be on my feet for any real length of time. Right now, my stomach is back to being flat, with no love handles or pudginess; now it's time to get the definition back.
Art class is where I'm hoping I will have some fun this semester. It's a really long class, nearly 4 hours on Mondays and Wednesdays; but I love to draw, and I'm looking forward to learning some new techniques to help me with some of the projects I have been working on lately. maybe even finally kick my ass in gear and work on some of the illustrations for the children's stories I have been kicking around for the past couple of years and keep putting off.
I'd love to finish the Monster In My room story, and develop some ideas on illustrating it. I think it would be an awesome Halloween book, or children's magazine publication. I've got he basic ideas in my head, I just need to sketch them out, and maybe change the ending of the story to one that is a bit more kid friendly.
One thing that is going to be interesting is how much I will or won't see of Robyn R Rudolph while on the new campus. I scheduled most of my MWF classes so that they are back to back; trying to eliminate the possibility of leaving campus and finding excuses to not attend class. Every semester, that has always been my biggest trip up. Skipping class and then falling behind.
As much as I would like to spend time with her on campus, we don't have any classes together and I know that she could potentially be a big distraction.
